"Sonam Dolkar holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in English Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi and a Bachelor s degree from Lady Shri Ram College Delhi University After completing her studies she taught in Tibetan educational and monastic institutions in Dharamsala. She also worked at the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy and in the Tibetan Cultural Research and Publication department of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives Dharamsala. She currently lives in Switzerland.
